Merry New Year and Happy Christmas!
Dear Friends and Family, we are so blessed to have you all in our lives. Our trip to Nashville was wonderful; warmer weather, long, fun 16 hours drives, matching pj's with the rest of the family, matching scarfs, vegan dinners, Franklin downtown magic, Sweet CeCe's Frozen Yogurt, shopping for new clothes, watching documentaries about Einstein and the March of the Penguins, and so much love. Tonight we are going to celebrate a fresh new start to the year with Jesus, and ice skating. We are loved and love you. Love, Collin and Joanna. P.S. Photographs to come shortly!

Apartment organizing!
This weekend was truly rewarding: house group @ our's, starbucks, relaxing, music, and switching the rooms around. If you have been to our place, you would know that we have 500 square feet, just kidding. We don't know how many feet exactly, but you would know that it's small. The past year or just under a year, Collin and I have had our bed in the conventional living room place in our apartment, and our studio/couch (living room attire) in the conventional bedroom. Well, we decided to switch it back to give us ultimately more floor space in the end. Here's the proof: (before)

"I'm Dreaming of a Nashville Christmas"

As Canadians, one would think that we count down until the snowy white winter arrives. True for Collin, being deprived of the real winter experience growing up in Scotland and all, but not true for Joanna. Fortunately, we have a brother and sister-in-law who live in Springhill, Tennessee, who is graciously letting all eight of our immediate family members escape the cold Canadian North Country. This will be our second Christmas in Nashville, which is extremely delightful: Dad, Mom, Mike, Collin and I all rotate 4 hour shifts in the driver's seat as we road trip it down South. This year we have the privilege of Rachel joining us too, which completes the final tally of 8. We love her and are happy to see Michael so happy too! Well, Happy Christmas, and don't forget to include the best guest of all: Jesus.
